Administration
Ms. Amanda Dorazio, Principal

Welcome to Stafford County Early Childhood Education Centers! My name is Amanda Dorazio and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the students, staff, and families of our early childhood community. I have a Bachelors of Science from James Madison University and a Masters of Education from Regent University. Before becoming a Principal, I was the Assistant Principal at Rising Star for 3 years. I taught Kindergarten for 15 years and first grade for one year at Rocky Run Elementary. Together, as an Early Childhood community we will provide engaging, meaningful, and fun experiences for our youngest learners.
My favorite quote by Rita Pierson states, " Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." Together, as an Early Childhood community, we can be champions for all children!
Ms. Amanda Black, Assistant Principal at North Star Early Childhood Education Center

Howdy! My name is Amanda Black and I’m proud to support our division’s youngest students in becoming lifelong learners. After an enlistment in the Navy, I earned my Bachelors of Arts from Old Dominion University, my Masters of Special Education from George Mason University, and my administrative certificate from the College of William and Mary. I’ve spent the majority of my teaching time here in Stafford, serving as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and then as an Education Coordinator before becoming an Assistant Principal. I’m very excited for the upcoming year and honored to be a part our dedicated early childhood team!
